Amniomorphic gel is a gelatinous fluid with extremely potent latent magical properties. It was previously believed that All Eyes gave the first sample to Lyra Heartstrings, though while exploring Starswirl the Bearded's memory, Lozenge notes that he had some as well. Both magically produced more from their samples.
The effects of amniomorphic gel are potent and varied, from temporary enhancement of abilities to hideous and sometimes fatal mutations.
It is the base material for the Chemicals of Harmony.
