Cockatrice

Cockatrices are creatures are creatures with the body of winged serpent and the head of a chicken. Tundra cockatrices have been mutated by hoarfrost exposure. Their stare no longer turns individuals to stone, as the cockatrices of old. Instead, locking eyes with one will turn the observer into an ice sculpture.
